The present work aims to evaluate the biomass of the Zuri grass (Panicum maximum cv. BRS ZURI) under four planting densities in the support center Manglaralto province of Santa Elena. For its development, the completely randomized block design (DBCA) with four treatments and four T1 repetitions (50 cm x 50 cm) was used; T2 (60 cm x 60 cm); T3 (70 cm x 70 cm); T4 (80 cm x 80 cm); With a total of 16 experimental plots, plant height (cm), number of leaves (u), number of tillers (u), dry matter (%) and biomass (kg) were measured, evaluating 45 days after cutting of equalization, the results obtained show that T3 has the best production with a biomass of 28.01 kg due to the development capacity influenced by the sowing distance together with the other variables mentioned. Particularly the percentage of dry matter does not show statistical difference; However, the results are favorable thanks to the environmental, physical and chemical conditions of the soil that help the development of the crop.
