Abstract

Given the continuous evolution of technology, the education sector cannot remain indifferent to such development, so the objective of the research was to determine the potential of Empowerment and Participation Technologies (TEP) to improve the performance and participation of students in the learning of Mathematics. The methodology was qualitative-quantitative experimental-exploratory approach, combining a bibliographic modality with field research. The methodology included class observation and information collection applying a structured questionnaire, with a 5-point Likert scale to 66 students, in addition, for class observation, an interactive digital guide was developed, using web 3.0 tools such as Canva, Mural, Proprofs and Padlet, for the use of the Zoom platform. Then the Technological Acceptance Model (TAM) was applied to check the level of acceptance of new technological tools and finally for the verification of the hypothesis the chi-square statistics and the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test were used, the results corroborated the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis that states that the TEP contribute to the learning of mathematics.
