Abstract

Research examines the relationship between soft skills and job dissatisfaction. Social skills are important to interact effectively with others in the work environment. Job dissatisfaction is a dimension of the burnout syndrome and can have negative consequences for individuals and organizations. The study was carried out with 20 professionals from the company Quality Up S.A.S., using evaluation instruments such as the Occupational Wear Scale and the Social Skills Scale. The results showed that 60% of the participants had a medium level of social skills and 55% experienced very low job dissatisfaction. A weak but significant inverse correlation was found between social skills and achievement dissatisfaction, indicating that as social skills increase, job dissatisfaction decreases. It is concluded that it is important to promote the development of social skills to improve job satisfaction.
