3D printing has become a versatile and powerful method in engineering, other disciplines are increasingly adapting it due to its tremendous potential beyond its typical applications. However, commercially available 3D printing systems are often expensive and elude wide deployment, including labs in low-resource settings. To address the limitations of conventional and commercially available technology, for which a polymer 3D printer was developed that can be installed in a single day, it is conveniently sized to fit into a standard, customizable, laminar flow hood. ultra-low cost and therefore accessible to a wide range of research laboratories or educational institutions. Accuracy and reproducibility of printing results using mainly polymers were evaluated to demonstrate their potential for diverse uses by printing various 2D and 3D objects, such that a parts list and 3D design files in STL format were presented. and STEP to rebuild the device.
