Abstract

Human talent management is undergoing a profound transformation driven by digitalization, data analytics, and the need to base organizational decision-making on information. This study aimed to analyze the incorporation of practices associated with People Analytics and Predictive Intelligence in talent management within an Ecuadorian animal feed company. The research followed a quantitative approach, non-experimental design, cross-sectional scope, and descriptive objectives, complemented by a bibliographic review to support the theoretical framework. Data were collected via a survey applied to 150 employees. Results indicated a greater presence of People Analytics and Predictive Intelligence in processes related to performance monitoring, productivity, and training, particularly in integrating performance with organizational productivity indicators (64,7%), evaluating training impact (58,7%), incorporating wellness and health indicators (57,3%), and leader training in predictive tools (54,7%). Conversely, lower presence was observed in workforce turnover prediction (50,7%) and using People Analytics reports for strategic planning (47,3%). The study concludes that both variables show favorable incorporation and a growing orientation toward strategic data use and predictive analysis in organizational management.
