Reviewer Guidelines
Blind Peer Review Process
The journal ensures the integrity of the review process through the anonymity of both authors and reviewers (double-blind modality). Additionally, it ensures that a manuscript is not evaluated by reviewers affiliated with the same institution managing the submission. Staff from the publishing institution are also excluded as potential reviewers.
Reviewers will evaluate the following aspects:
Topic relevance, soundness of arguments and conclusions, and internal structure and organization of the manuscript.
These comments, as well as the reviewer's decision, will be collected through a Google Form provided by the Editorial Board.
Furthermore, reviewers must consider the following principles for their evaluation:
- Confidentiality:
Reviewers must treat their evaluation confidentially and not disclose any information regarding the manuscript.
- Impartiality:
Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts in an impartial and objective manner, focusing on scientific quality and academic merit.
Comments are expected to be constructive, offering clear and specific suggestions to improve the work.
- Timeliness and Commitment:
Reviewers must complete the manuscript evaluation within a maximum period of two weeks and report any issue that may affect their ability to deliver the review on time.
A strong commitment to the integrity of the review process and the continuous improvement of the journal's quality is expected.
- Ethics and Conflict of Interest:
Reviewers must refrain from reviewing manuscripts where a personal, professional, or financial conflict of interest exists.
Any concerns regarding research ethics or potential plagiarism must be reported confidentially to the editor.
The decision of the peer reviewers may be one of the following:
- Acceptable without modifications.
- A strong candidate for publication, subject to minor revisions.
- Acceptable, subject to major/substantive revisions.
- Rejection.
Upon receipt of the revisions submitted by the reviewers, the final decision is made by the Editorial Board and is non-appealable.
