Factores de Riesgo Psicosocial en Empresas Comercializadoras de Calzado de Tungurahua-Ecuador

Resumen

El estudio de los factores de riesgo psicosocial emerge como un tema crucial para la investigación académica, la práctica organizacional, y el bienestar de los empleados, por lo que, el objetivo de la presente investigación es establecer los factores que influyen en el nivel actual de riesgo psicosocial que presentan los trabajadores de empresas comercializadoras del sector del calzado de la provincia de Tungurahua. De enero a julio del 2024, se evaluó el nivel de riesgo psicosocial de 237 trabajadores en los nueve cantones de la Provincia de Tungurahua, en la zona central del Ecuador. Mediante un cuestionario semiestructurado se recolectó información crucial de las variables sociodemográficas, variables asociadas a la empresa, y factores psicosociales laborales. Los datos recolectados fueron analizados cuantitativamente mediante el análisis de varianza y el modelo de regresión múltiple. Los resultados muestran tres niveles significativamente diferentes de riesgo psicosocial, con trabajadores experimentando mayoritariamente niveles de riesgo medio y alto, que reflejan una relación negativa con la estabilidad laboral y emocional, así como la organización del trabajo. La cuantificación del riesgo psicosocial y principalmente de los factores que inducen dichos niveles podrían convertirse en el punto de partida para el diseño e implementación de programas de intervención específicos para este importante sector económico, previniendo futuras afectaciones en la salud física y mental que potencialmente impactarán significativamente en el desempeño y compromiso laboral.
