Abstract

In the educational context, initial education is considered as a process of accompaniment to integral development and play as the essential methodology for emotional, social, physical and cognitive well-being, the child learns by playing in learning spaces or environments, where they carry out various activities. enhancing their capacities, abilities and skills that will allow them to learn spontaneously and according to their needs. Synthesize the studies carried out on the game in the integral development of children. The study followed a descriptive methodology, the use of theoretical and empirical methods and the RSL (Systematic Review of Literature), allowed consultation on degree projects carried out by students from the periods October 2022-March 2023, of the Education Career Initial, Faculty of Human Sciences and Education, Technical University of Ambato. The selection of 7 curricular integration projects that contributed to synthesize the theoretical foundations of the game in the integral development of children, specifying the information in: Regulated game, Perception game, outdoor games, role plays, traditional games, games group, applied in the game-work methodology proposed by the Initial Education Curriculum 2014, which contribute to the development of cognitive, physical and socio-affective areas for an integral development in the infant. The systematization of research related to the game in the development of the main areas of the human being such as: the cognitive, physical, and socio-affective area that contribute to the integral development of children, which will allow them to develop future skills and competences.
