The lightning rod is an atmospheric condenser formed by three concentric rings of stainless steel that act with synthetic dielectric polymers with the aim of attracting and receiving the responses of atmospheric and terrestrial potential, so that in turn emit an electric ionizing field with a point of origin ascending in order that the sea ray attracted by the lightning rod. Completely made of AISI 316 stainless steel, it resists saline environments so it can work in optimum conditions at sea levels and industrial areas of high contamination, the polymeric parts of grilon of great rigidity and hardness resistant to loads such as: impact, abrasion, Tension, traction, being highly indestructible in cyclical loads so it guarantees infinite durability. The connection of the down conductor of the lightning rod is made with a copper conductor of 1/0 aluminum, this conductor is installed by the internal part of the mast. According to the standard, the cable must be protected at least two meters from the floor with steel pipe, and then the copper conductor or down pipe connected to the electrolytic copper electrode, through a welding process.
