Abstract

The family and the community play a fundamental role in the academic performance of the students. In addition, educated and engaged communities can provide additional resources for learning, such as public libraries, afterschool programs, and student mentors. Family and community involvement in education can also improve students' motivation and commitment to learning. In addition, students who feel supported by their families and communities may experience less stress and have better mental health, which can also improve their academic performance—these are key factors in student academic success, and their support can significantly improve.
