Quantitative analysis of social networks in public universities - zone 3 Ecuador

The article presents a quantitative analysis of social media usage in public universities in Zone 3 of Ecuador. The objective is to evaluate online interaction and engagement to enhance popularity and activity on these platforms. A quantitative methodology was used, based on the collection and analysis of data from Facebook and Instagram using the Fan Page Karma tool. The research was structured into six phases, from setting objectives to proposing positioning strategies. The results show that universities have increased their visibility and engagement, highlighting the importance of measuring and optimizing digital strategies. The study concludes that effective social media management is crucial for strengthening communication and institutional presence.
