Abstract
In the San Joaquín 2 quarry of the company MAPEAGRE Cía. Ltda., the extreme working conditions present imply that the equipment is always subject to wear and deterioration throughout its useful life, which is why it is significant to have appropriate maintenance strategies. In the present work, the technical state of the mining processing equipment with preventive maintenance is analyzed, with the purpose of implementing the alternate maintenance system, for which it began with the determination of the negative factors that influence the efficient operation of the equipment, the most significant being the inadequate maintenance system applied to the machines. Appropriate maintenance criteria are considered at the machine and element level according to the failure histories of the equipment and the impacts generated by them. As a result of the evaluation of the technical state of the equipment, it was obtained that the equipment with a planned preventive maintenance system reached an evaluation of 80.27%, classified as regular state, so an improvement in maintenance cycles and repairs is proposed. .
