(Amaranthaceae)_2017, volume={2}, url={https://investigacion.utc.edu.ec/index.php/utciencia/article/view/28}, abstractNote={En el presente trabajo se analizó la secuencia psbA-trnH de 16 muestras de Amaranthus (A. flavus, A. aureus, A. gangeticus, A. floridanus, A. hypochondriacus A. giganteus, A. mantegazzianus, A. bouchonii, A. mangostanus, A. oleraceus, A. tricolor, A. cruentus, A. hybridus, A. caudatus) para determinar la variabilidad genética. La región estudiada se caracterizó por tener un bajo nivel de polimorfismo (2,36% de las bases nucleotídicas). Se detectó la presencia de polimorfismos de nucleótido simple (en adelante, SNPs) e indeles. La especie silvestre A. gangeticus presentó la mayor variabilidad (2 haplotipos). Se describen, por primera vez 11 haplotipos de especies silvestres y cultivadas de Amaranthus.
